LiitoKala Lii-S2 Dual-Slot Smart Battery Charger
$17.99
The LiitoKala Lii-S2 is a compact 2-bay smart charger for Li-ion, IMR, LiFePO4 and NiMH/NiCd cells, with auto-polarity detection and an LCD readout per channel showing voltage, current, capacity and battery type as it charges.
Feed it one cell and it runs up to 2A; load both bays and it splits down to a selectable 500mA or 1000mA per bay. Output voltage is set automatically per chemistry — 4.2V for Li-ion, 4.35V for high-voltage IMR, 3.65V for LiFePO4, 1.48V for NiMH/NiCd — with over-charge, over-discharge, short-circuit and defective-cell protection built in.
Compatible cell sizes: 26650, 20700, 18650, 18490, 17700, 17500, 16340/RCR123, 14500, 10440, plus AA/AAA/A/C-size NiMH/NiCd.
Good to Know Before You Buy
- USB-C input (5V/2A) — bring your own USB cable and wall plug. Note: product photos may show an earlier Micro-USB revision of this charger; the unit currently stocked and shipped uses USB-C.
- Independent testing found the 2A single-slot mode doesn't quite hold full current all the way to the CV phase — real charge times run a bit longer than the rated current alone suggests.
- Like most smart chargers, Li-ion cells left in after a full charge will trickle-charge at very low current — remove promptly once done.

| Input | USB-C, DC 5V (product photos may show an earlier Micro-USB revision - unit shipped is USB-C) |
| Input Current | 2 A |
| Per-Bay Output | 2000mA on 1 bay; 500mA or 1000mA per bay with both loaded (selectable) |
| Total Output | 2 A |
| Display | LCD - channel, voltage, current, capacity (mAh), time, battery type |
| Length | 118 mm |
| Weight | 125 g |
| Extra Functions | Auto-polarity detection; auto battery-type/chemistry detection; CC/CV charging with proper termination; over-charge/over-discharge/short-circuit protection; defective-cell detection |
| Charge Behavior Note | Independent testing (lygte-info.dk) found the 2A single-slot mode can't quite hold full current all the way to the CV phase - it tapers somewhat early - and recommends removing cells promptly after charge completion since Li-ion trickle-charging continues at very low current. Rated a fairly good charger overall. |
