Return Policy
Returns & Refunds
Hey there — quick heads-up before you check out.
Gadget Connections is a one-person operation. It’s me, my workbench, and a whole lot of flashlights. I love what I do, but I’m not Amazon, so I have to keep this policy a little tighter than what you might be used to. If you read it once before ordering, we’ll both be happier customers.
The short version
If something is wrong and defective or if the issue is my fault, I will for sure 100% make it right. It usually means that I now take a loss on the order.
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery — and only for defective items.
- All accepted returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, if the product is deemed to not be defective.
- “I just don’t like it,” “wrong color in person,” “changed my mind,” and “my buddy said get a different one” aren’t returnable. Please read the listing, look at the photos, and ask questions before you order. I genuinely don’t mind questions — I’d much rather help you pick the right thing the first time than process a return.
- If you send something back claiming it’s defective and it tests just fine when it lands on my bench, you’ll be charged the 25% restocking fee plus the cost of return shipping. I have to draw the line somewhere — testing time and shipping costs are real money for a one-person shop.
How to start a return
- Email me at contact@gadgetconnections.com within 14 days of delivery and tell me what’s wrong. Include your order number and, if you can, a photo or short video of the issue.
- Wait for my reply before shipping anything back. Un-coordinated returns may be refused at the door.
- Once your item arrives and I’ve confirmed the defect, I’ll process the refund to your original payment method, or ship a new product. If the item is found to not be defective, there is a 25% restocking fee, cause lets be honest, i cant sell it as new if it is now opened. So i will need to discount it for resale as well. Custom items (as you agreed at purchase), can not be returned. If there is an issue, email me. 9x out of 10x we can figure it out with email.
A small note from a small business
I’m a one-person company. Every order is packed, shipped, and (when it has to be) returned by me. Tight return policies aren’t because I’m trying to be difficult — they’re how a tiny shop like this stays open and keeps the lights on. Literally.
Thanks for supporting a small business. I appreciate it more than you know.
