Convoy - S21A UV 365nm 21700 Flashlight with Nichia 233B, ZWB2 Filter
Only available in the gray color pictured below.
The Convoy S21A UV 365nm is a compact single-emitter 21700 UV inspection light built around the Nichia 233B (NVSU233B) — a purpose-made 365nm UV-A LED — with a ZWB2 filter installed standard to block visible leakage and pass true ultraviolet.
Host, driver and emitter, laid out plainly: the S21A is Convoy's lighter 21700 platform (26.6mm body, 123mm long, 88g), the driver runs 3 modes — 5% / 30% / 100% — up to 1.4A, and the Nichia 233B is datasheet-rated for 1450mW typical radiant flux at its 1.0A test point.
This flashlight does NOT have USB charging — remove the battery to charge it externally.
What 365nm UV Is Good For
- Mineral & fossil fluorescence inspection
- Scorpion hunting
- Leak detection with UV-reactive dyes
- Charging glow-in-the-dark and phosphorescent materials
- Currency and document authentication
Good to Know Before You Buy
- Requires 1x unprotected 21700 lithium battery, not included. No onboard charging.
- Smaller and lighter than Convoy's M21A/L21B UV lights, trading some raw output for a more compact carry.
- 365nm UV-A at this output is an eye and skin hazard — never point it at eyes or skin, and UV-blocking eyewear is recommended for extended use.
