Basic Application

Remove the old damaged wrap carefully.

Keep or replace the positive terminal insulating ring.

Slide the new wrap over the battery.

Center the wrap so both ends fold evenly over the top and bottom edges.

Apply gentle, even heat until the wrap shrinks tightly around the cell.

Inspect the battery before use to make sure no metal body is exposed.

Safety Notes

Always use the correct insulating ring on the positive end of the battery.

Do not use a battery with exposed metal, torn wraps, dents, leaks, corrosion, or unusual heat.

Do not overheat the cell while shrinking the wrap.

Do not cover or block the battery’s safety vent.

These wraps do not repair damaged batteries. They only replace the outer sleeve.

Only rewrap lithium-ion batteries if you understand basic battery safety.
