Your EDC Format Matters More Than Turbo

The spec race keeps getting louder, but the buying mistake is still the same: people sort by max lumen first and ignore format.

Look at the current listings from the major brands and the pattern is obvious. Turbo keeps climbing, but carry size, switch layout, and heat behavior still decide whether a light is actually usable day to day.

For what we stock right now, start with the EDC collection, then narrow by shape and controls. The Nitecore EDC31 is a good example of strong output in a size most people will actually carry, and if you want a different interface feel, compare what is live in the Olight collection before chasing launch-week hype.

My opinion: buy for your routine, not for one headline number. If you want a direct recommendation between two models we currently have live, email contact@gadgetconnections.com.
