Stop Buying Keychain Lights You Can't Use

Yesterday I watched someone scroll past three tiny lights because they all had the same problem: too many modes, not enough clarity. If a keychain light takes a manual and two hands to use, it will not stay on your keys for long.

The Nitecore TINI 3 gets this mostly right. You can actually read what mode you are in, it charges over USB-C, and it stays small enough that you will carry it every day instead of tossing it in a drawer after week one.

If you want more utility in the same pocket footprint, the Fenix E06R adds UV and laser without turning into a brick. For most people, that is a better real-world upgrade than chasing bigger lumen numbers you will never run for more than a burst.

We keep adding practical options in our EDC section, but my advice stays the same: buy the light you will actually use at the mailbox, in the garage, and under the seat at night. That one always beats the spec-sheet hero.
